1. Eligibility: The White’s IGA Game of Chance is open to legal residents of Australia, aged 18 years or older at the time of entry. Employees, immediate family members, and affiliates of White’s Management Group Pty Ltd (ACN 120 989 068) (“White’s IGA”) on behalf of the White’s IGA stores and associated partners are not eligible to participate.
2. Entry Period: The White’s IGA Game of Chance begins on 4th October 2023 at 06:00 AM [AEST] and ends on 26th October 2023 at 02:00pm PM [AEST].
3. How to Enter: To participate, an individual must
a) Purchase instore from any of the White’s IGA stores (Bli Bli, Mooloolah, Mt Coolum, Baringa, Peregian Beach & Forest Glen) at least one or more products from any of the participating suppliers (Arnotts, Bega, Coca-Cola, McCain, Nestle, Red Tractor, Tip Top & Yummy Snack Foods);
b) Fill out the entry form located at the bottom of the transaction receipt, nominating the entrants name and chosen qualifying charity; and
c) Place the entry form into the competition box at the front of the store.
4. One Entry Per Transaction: Individuals receive one entry per transaction regardless of how many qualifying products are purchased within that one transaction. There is no limit as to how many times an individual may enter the competition, however only entry forms located at the bottom of the original transaction receipt will be accepted as valid entries in the competition. Photocopies (or the like) of entry forms will not be accepted.
5. Finalists Selection Draws: Two (2) finalists from each of the six (6) White’s IGA stores (12 winners in total) will be randomly drawn at 2:30PM [AEST] on the 26th Oct 2023. These finalists will automatically enter the ‘Final Draw’. Upon an individual becoming a finalist, the remaining entries (if any) by said individual are voided to ensure that a finalist is only eligible for one entry to the Final Draw.
6. Final Draw Date: The Final Draw will take place at 3:30pm Saturday, October 28, 2023, at White’s IGA Forest Glen.
7. Prize Details: One (1) Grand Prize winner will receive Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00) in White’s IGA Shopping Credit, and Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00) will be donated to the winner’s approved charity. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
8. Grand Prize Winner Requirement: To be eligible to win the White’s IGA Game of Chance, the individual must:
(a) Be one of the selected Finalist;
(b) Complete and return the declaration duly witnessed; and
(c) Be present at the final draw.
9. Grand Prize Winner Selection: The Grand Prize winner will be determined by random chance between the eligible Finalists at the Final Draw.
10. Publicity: All eligible Finalists and Grand Prize Winner accept their name being published as an entry in the draw, accepting the prize (if applicable) and agree to White’s IGA using their name, likeness, and submission for advertising and promotional purposes without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.
11. $20k Prize Payment: The Grand Prize winner will have a trading account credited to the value of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000), at their chosen White’s IGA Store, for them to charge the groceries they wish to purchase to. This account will remain valid and open for 12 months from the 1st Nov 2023- 31st Oct 2024. Any credit not used in the 12-month period will be forfeited.
12. Charity Donation: The Ten Thousand Dollar ($10,000) charity donation will be made directly to the approved charity chosen by the winner. The approved beneficiary must be a registered nonprofit organization or Charity, a local sporting club or School. The organisation must be based in the Sunshine Coast or Noosa Council areas.
13. Privacy: Any personal information collected during the Game of Chance will be used solely for the purpose of administering the promotion and will not be shared with third parties. White’s IGA reserve the rights to use your detail to contact you for future promotions & marketing.
14. Limitation of Liability: White’s IGA and its affiliates are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, or misdirected entries or any technical malfunctions that may occur.
15. Disqualification: White’s IGA reserves the right to disqualify any individual found to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the promotion or violating these terms and conditions.
16. Changes: White’s IGA reserves the right to modify, suspend, or cancel the Game of Chance in the event of any unforeseen circumstances that affect its integrity or proper conduct. This includes, but not limited to the final decision in the chosen $10k beneficiary of the nonprofit organization or Charity, a local sporting club or School selected.
17. Governing Law: The Game of Chance is governed by the laws of the Office of Liquor & Gaming, under the Charitable & Not for Profit Gaming Act 1999.
18. Sponsor: The Game of Chance is sponsored by White’s IGA Group. Building 2, Level 4, Suite 401, Bli Bli Village, David Low Way, Bli Bli 4560.
Participating stores are White’s IGA Baringa, White’s IGA Forest Glen, White’s IGA Peregian Beach, White’s IGA Mooloolah, White’s IGA Bli Bli and White’s IGA Mount Coolum.
